    Recreational Cheerleading and Tumbling Classes

    Cheerleading-

    Recreational Cheerleading-Purple

    This is a great introduction to cheerleading for 3-5 year olds. Purple meets for 45 minutes once a week. During their practices they work on cheers, dances, basic stunts, jumps, and motions. They have the chance to perform in local parades and community events.

    Schedule--Thursday 5:45pm-6:30pm 

     

    Recreational Cheerleading-Lime

    This is a great introduction to cheerleading for 6-9 year olds. Lime meets for 1 hour once a week. During their practices they work on cheers, dances, basic stunts, jumps, and motions. They have the chance to perform in local parades and community events.

    Fall Schedule--Monday 6:30pm-7:30pm OR Thursday 6:30-7:30pm

    April 1-thru August 31st--Monday 6:30-7:30pm OR Tuesday 6:30pm-7:30pm

                           

    Cheer Technique Class

    This is a one hour class that will work on stunting, tumbling, jumps, and conditioning. It is a great class for 10-18 year olds to prepare for high school, college, or all star teams.

    Schedule --Tuesday 6:30pm-7:30pm OR Thursday 5:30-6:30pm

     

    Stunting/Flyer/Stretching Class

    This is a one hour class that will work on stunting, flyer skills, flyer stretches and much more. It is a great class for any age.  

    April 1st-August 31st Schedule --Monday 5:45-6:45pm OR Tuesday 6:30-7:30pm OR Thursday 7:30-8:30pm

     

    Flex and Jumps Class

    This is a 30 minute class that will work on your forms for jumps and flexibility. It is a awesome class for kids of all ages.

    Grab Class

    This is a 30 minute class that Is a SURPRISE!!   Grab bag is a class that you won't know what you are doing until  you arrive.  It could be stunting, jumps, tumbling or just plan old fun.  Join the class and see.

    April 1st-August 31st Schedule --Monday 8:00-8:30pm OR Thursday 6:00-6:30pm

     

     

     

    Tumbling-

    Tumbling For Cheer- Level 1

    This class is for athletes who are working on their standing back handspring. This class meets 1 hour each week and will focus on round-offs, back walkovers, front walkovers, and back handsprings. Apex Athletics does not believe in progressing athletes until they have demonstrated the necessary strength and have mastered the previous skill.  This class starts with a  warm up of tumbling and go into spotted stations for specific skills.

    Tumbling For Cheer- Level 2

    This class will work with those who have mastered their standing and round-off back handspring and are working on round-off tucks, round-off back handspring tucks, multiple connected back handsprings, and specialty passes. This class starts with a warm up of tumbling and go into spotted stations for specific skills.  This class meets for 1 hour a week.

    April 1st thru August 31st--Monday 6:45-7:45pm OR Tuesday 5:30-6:30pm OR Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm  OR Thursday 6:30-7:30pm

     

    Tumbling For Cheer-Level 3 thru 5

    This class is for athletes who have mastered their running tucks and have a strong grasp on standing tucks, also This class meets 1 hour each week and will focus on standing tucks, layouts, full twisting layouts, and advanced connected passes. Apex Athletics does not believe in progressing athletes until they have demonstrated the necessary strength and have mastered the previous skill.
